Terry College of Business

Aaron Schecter is an Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems at the University of Georgia, Terry College of Business. Dr. Schecter received his undergraduate and masters degrees in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Johns Hopkins University, and a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management Science from Northwestern University. He has received several awards for his research and teaching, including the Hackman Dissertation award for group research, the Young Investigator award from the US Army Research Office, and a Lilly Teaching Fellowship at the University of Georgia. Dr. Schecter's work has been published in top management outlets such as MIS Quarterly and the Journal of Operations Management and has been supported by grants from the US Army and NASA. His current research focus is on the interaction between humans and smart technologies in the context of teamwork and decision making.
