Aarushi Jain

Dr Aarushi Jain has 17 years of experience as an Administrator, Faculty and Project Head. As the Associate Director, she leads the education, research and outreach activities at the Bharti Institute of Public Policy, Indian School of Business, and is the coordinator of the Advanced Management Programme in Public Policy.

She holds the Doctorate degree in Public Administration and has a double post-graduation in Public Administration and Human Resources. She is a UGC-NET/JRF/SRF-qualified Accredited Management Teacher (AMT) in Public Policy. She has previously served as the Chairman, Rural Development and Corporate Social Responsibility, at the International Chamber of Service Industry, and has worked in various institutions, including the National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur; Indus International University, and Himachal Consultancy Organisation. Dr Jain has been a visiting faculty to diverse premier institutions, including the National Centre for Good Governance, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA); Himachal Institute of Public Administration; Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy and the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics. She has had a long association with National Centre for Good Governance, LBSNAA, Mussoorie, for research studies on rural development as a State Coordinator for Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. She has published a book on ‘Public Private Partnership and Corporate Social Responsibility’ and has more than 40 publications in leading international and national journals. Her research interests include Public Policy and Governance; Corporate Social Responsibility; Rural Development; Education, Women and Girl Child issues.

Dr Jain has also been a national-level table tennis player and an international-level quiz wizard. She takes keen interest in social work. Being the President of Redcross (HWS), catering to multiple districts of Himachal Pradesh, she has worked extensively on social issues such as women empowerment, Save the Girl Child campaign, health, education and more. She has been honoured and acclaimed for her efforts on various occasions, both at the state and national level.
