Brief Biography:
Abby Corrington is an Assistant Professor of Management in the School of Business at Providence College. She teaches Organizational Behavior and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Business to undergraduate students at PC. She previously taught Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Business in the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University.
Dr. Corrington conducts research on diversity and inclusion in organizations, with the goal of improving workplace experiences for all people. Her research has been featured in the Harvard Business Review, the Journal of Business and Psychology, Human Resource Management, and many other academic outlets. Her work has also been featured at the Academy of Management annual meetings and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology annual meetings. Additionally, her work has been recognized for excellence through several different granting agencies.
Dr. Corrington received her Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Rice University, where she also earned her B.A. in Psychology, with honors. Prior to pursuing a doctorate, she worked in management consulting, where she provided change management services to several Fortune 500 companies.
