UCL School of Management
Author, speaker, educator, adviser Adam Kingl is sought for his expertise on the future of business. One of his areas of research is on the work and leadership paradigms of Generation Y, a demographic that composes half the global workforce today and 75% by 2025, to shine a light on the fundamental paradigm shifts that we will face in the business world. This is the subject of his book, ‘Next Generation Leadership’, published by HarperCollins in 2020. Related to the future of business, companies are concerned about how they can innovate in order to be prepared for the seismic shifts they will face. Through this lens, Adam also speaks from a practical perspective on topics such as how to improve strategic (business model) innovation, management (or leadership) innovation, and how successfully to leverage culture and engagement in work-life.
Previously, Adam was the Regional Managing Director for Duke Corporate Education, Europe and Executive Director of Thought Leadership and Learning Solutions for London Business School. He was also an Associate of the Management Lab and Saatchi & Saatchi.
He has spoken at public conferences including the World Expo (Milan), Global Leadership Summit, FT-Coca Cola Enterprises Future of Sustainability Summit, Future Talent Conference, HR Directors Business Summit, Employee Benefits Connect and the HR Directors International Summit. He has contributed to and been interviewed by publications including The Financial Times, Sunday Times, Forbes, Fortune, The Guardian, Fast Company, Business News Daily, Business Strategy Review, European Business Review, Dialogue, Employee Engagement Today, City AM, Changeboard (UK and UAE), Citywire, Dubai Eye (radio), Gulf News, Gulf Business, The National (UAE), South China Morning Post and Tokyo MX (television).
Adam holds degrees from London Business School, UCLA and Yale. He is a dual British-American citizen.
Sauder School of Business
Adam Kingl is an author, keynote speaker, and educator. His subjects are leadership, culture, purpose, team dynamics, future of work, creativity, strategic innovation, management innovation, and the generational paradigms of work, careers and leadership. This last topic is the subject of his book. Next Generation Leadership, which will be published by HarperCollins in February 2020.
Adam was the Regional Managing Director, Europe, for Duke Corporate Education and the Executive Director of Thought Leadership for London Business School (LBS) Executive Education. He served on the School’s Executive Education Board and was responsible for representing the School’s research, transforming it into many formats (tools, simulations, plenary sessions, assessments) for a practitioner audience. Prior to this role, Adam was Executive Director of Learning Solutions at LBS, responsible for all Executive Education programme design and quality, where he created the School’s trademarked pedagogy and impact assessment methodology. Before joining the executive team, Adam was a Programme Director for Open and Custom Executive Education.
He is also an Associate of the Management Innovation eXchange and was an Associate of Saatchi & Saatchi for two years. Adam served on the CLIP steering committee for the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), which creates standards for and accredits corporate universities and learning functions.
Prior to LBS, Adam was a consultant in creativity, innovation, strategy, culture and leadership. He also worked in the media and entertainment industries for a number a years in both business and creative functions.
Adam has consulted, designed and taught courses in areas such as unleashing personal and team creativity, strategic innovation, management innovation, organisational culture, high performing teams, generational paradigms of work and leadership, and fulfilling organisational and personal purpose to organisations including ADNOC, Aldar, BBC, BP, Carlsberg, De Beers, Disney, GSK, HSBC, LVMH, Nestle, Oman Oil, Orica, Pixar, Suntory, Tesco, UKTV, William Hill, and Zurich Insurance.
Adam has spoken at public conferences including the Global Leadership Summit, FT-Coca Cola Enterprises Future of Sustainability Summit, Changeboard Future Talent Conference, HR Directors Business Summit, Employee Benefits Connect, Strategic HR Network Leadership and Talent Conference, European HR Directors International Business Summit, HR Strategy Forum, CIPD Talent Engagement Conference, EMVA Business Conference, Business International, HR Magazine and TiE – the global entrepreneurs’ network.

Adam holds degrees from London Business School, UCLA and Yale. He was raised in Silicon Valley, California, and now lives in Surrey. He is a dual British-American citizen.
