I am an expatriate Libyan/American that has lived, worked and studied in the Middle East, Europe and North America. I describe myself as a banker by day and Robin Hood by night. Throughout my career, I have moved seamlessly between private, public and NGO sectors globally. 

Currently residing in Dubai, I concurrently hold positions with Wells Fargo Bank (#1 bank globally by market cap) covering the Middle East as well as being the StrategicPartnerships Director/General Manager with the American Refugee Committee for the Middle East. In my recent professional endeavors, I have led efforts in human-centered design thinking, lean launchpad methodologies, socio-economic development initiatives, public policy advocacy, impact investing, strategic philanthropy, and sustainable development throughout the MENA region and beyond. 

I was honored with the Prince Al- Waleed Bin Talal Fellowship in 2010 and received my Masters in Public Affairs magna cum laude from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. I have been frequently requested to lecture on topics related to innovation, human-centered design, and co-creation in public/private/NGO sector. My latest endeavor was co-founding the SEED Entrepreneurship center which focuses on addressing youth unemployment in MENA via lean launchpad methodologies.
