Biography

McCombs School of Business

I am a first-generation Mexican-American with a passion for accounting. Yes. You read that right. I wrote "passion" and "accounting" in the same sentence. I was first exposed to the language of business at 15 years old and placed at state and national levels in high school. I then went on to graduate with a business honors bachelor's and a master's degree from a top-ranked graduate accounting program. I am in my second year of the Accounting Development Program (ADP) at Dell Technologies, Inc. ADP is a three-year rotational program that provides career development and leadership opportunities through different roles in accounting, curriculum, and mentorship. My current role is in the Global Revenue Policy and Allocation team and I serve as NPI project manager. Outside of my role's responsibilities I am involved with the Dell's University of Texas Recruiting, Latino Recruiting, Diversity and Inclusion training, and Relationship and Team Building ADP Pillar. I am also currently an exam candidate for the Texas Certified Public Accountant examination, two exams done and two to go!
