Aleksander Grzeszczak

Aleksander Grzeszczak was for the last 10 years an executive advisor to Value Discovery Partners (VDP), a private equity investment fund focusing on emerging markets, especially in Southeastern Europe. Prof. Grzeszczak has completed a number of acquisitions in the region and is currently responsible for the restructuring of operating enterprises, execution of business plans, acquisition and sale of assets. He is also one of the founders of Chronograph Finance Ltd., a corporate finance consultancy, private equity and buyout firm.

Outside the PE industry, Aleksander Grzeszczak is a member of the finance department at the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge. Prior to VDP, Aleksander Grzeszczak was Vice President of the Telecom investment banking group Salomon Smith Barney (now Citigroup Corporate & Investment Bank), where he spent 5 years, first in the New York office and then in London. In this role, he conducted a number of advisory, M&A, equity and debt financing transactions for American and European SSB clients.

He is a graduate of Columbia Business School, where he obtained an MBA/MIA degree (finance). He also holds a Master's degree in Telecommunications and Electronics.
