Biography:
Alena is an Assistant professor of Marketing at NEOMA Business School in France. Alena’s primary research area is information processing in consumer decision making, especially in the online and digital environment. Her work on this topic appears in academic outlets such as Journal of Consumer Behaviour and Journal of Research in Interactive Marketing. Alena’s secondary research area lies within innovative research methodology. Her working paper on this topic received the Best In Track award at the 2016 SMA conference. In 2017 Alena is serving as a guest editor for a special issue of the European Journal of Marketing, and as an ad hoc reviewer for several journals including the Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, Journal of Basic and Applied Social Psychology and Journal of Business Ethics, among others. Prior to academia, Alena spent nearly 10 years in various positions within industry.
