Biography

Alessandro Lizzeri joined New York University Faculty of Arts and Science in Economics in 2000 and now also has an affiliated appointment in the Department of Economics at the Stern School of Business. Prior to joining NYU, he was an Assistant Professor at Princeton University.

Professor Lizzeri is the author of numerous papers on topics ranging from industrial organization to political economy. He also serves as editor for the Journal of Economic Theory.

Professor Lizzeri earned a B.A. in Economics at Universita' Bocconi in Milan, Italy, and a Ph.D. in Business Economics from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 1995.
