Biography
University of Zurich
I am an Economist at the European Central Bank and a Research Fellow at the University of Zurich.
At the ECB, I work as a Financial Stability Expert in the Directorate General for Macroprudential Policy and Financial Stability. At the University of Zurich, I am a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Banking and Finance, in the context of an ERC Advanced Grant on "Bank Lending"
I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Warwick, as well as a MSc in Economics from Pompeu Fabra University and a MRes in Economic Analysis and Policy from Paris School of Economics.
In my experience, I have combined academic research, university teaching, policy advice and design. I have developed research in or in collaboration with central banks (ECB, Bank of England and Banca d’Italia), macroprudential bodies (ESRB) and international institutions (IMF).
My research interests are in empirical financial intermediation and corporate finance, financial regulation and stability, sustainable finance, monetary policy transmission, capital markets.
