Biography

Born and raised in New York City, I graduated from Cornell University with a BA in history in 2014. As a Cornell student, I minored in communication and spent most of my time studying the FDA’s proposed cigarette graphic warning labels. My primary interest with warning labels lies on the branding and marketing side. Through my research, I aim to gain a better understanding of how branding impacts various social groups. My goal is to utilize this information to construct the most effective marketing strategy. In addition, I am also interested in branding and viral marketing.

In 2016, I received my Master’s degree in strategic communication from the University of North Carolina. As a Roy H. Park Fellow, I continued my research with warning labels, and gained an interested in brand strategy. I have a heavy research background, and have been working in research labs since her sophomore year at Cornell. At UNC, I was also a teaching assistant for a data analytics class, and taught a senior level digital advertising and marketing class. For my Master’s thesis, I developed a comprehensive digital advertising and marketing plan for a real world client.

Currently, I’m a Brand Strategy Supervisor at Horizon Media working on the Petco account. Previously I worked on the Sprint, Boost Mobile and LG accounts. I’ve worked on digital, social, search, television, audio and OOH planning across both national and local markets. During my time at Horizon Media I’ve expanded my problem solving, project management, relationship management and strategic planning abilities.

I’m also currently working towards my MBA at New York University Stern School of Business.
