Ali Taghavi

Ali is the Senior Manager of Applied Research at Optilogic. He brings in extensive knowledge on modeling Supply Chain problems using various decision making tools in optimization (Mathematical Programming, Heuristics, Search Algorithms). In his past careers, he has dealt with a lot of large scale problems and likes to use algorithms to solve them.

Ali holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering and Operations Research from Wayne State University. He also loves to play sports and has played either soccer or tennis almost every week for the last 7 years. Now he has started to learn how to ski and play basketball!
