Alison Coppelman

Alison Coppelman serves as the Senior Associate Dean for Alumni Relations & Development at Harris. In this role, she oversees a variety of programs and strategies designed to maximize philanthropic support for the school and to increase engagement with our worldwide community of alumni and friends.

Alison joined the University of Chicago in 2004, working with College alumni and annual fund programs. She has held a variety of roles in Alumni Relations and Development, including leadership positions at the Law School and Chicago Booth. Prior to joining Harris, Alison was a Senior Director and COO in the Office of Advancement at Booth.

Early in her career, Alison worked for Pearson Education in New York. She holds a BA in English with a Concentration in Women’s Studies from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. A Chicago native, she currently lives in Oak Park with her husband and two sons.
