Mendoza College of Business

Andreas Neuhierl is an assistant professor of finance at the University of Notre Dame. He joined Notre Dame in 2015 after receiving his Ph.D. in finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Neuhierl’s primary research interest is in asset pricing. In recent work, he investigated price reaction to new information in equity markets, liquidity frictions in commodity markets and short-sale constraints and information processing. His research has been published in The Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis and The Journal of Financial Econometrics. Neuhierl teaches investments.
