Ann Vereecke’s main interests are supply chain management and manufacturing strategy – and in particular, international manufacturing strategy. She has published several academic articles in these areas. Currently, she focuses on Industry 4.0 and how new digital technologies are transforming the supply chain.

At Vlerick, Ann teaches Operations and Supply Chain Management on the MBA, Masters and executive programmes. She is actively involved in executive teaching and research projects for a broad range of companies, in many industries. And she’s the Director of the Research Centre for People in the Smart Digitised Supply Chain.

Ann has served on the board of POMS (the US-based Production and Operations Management Society) and has been president of EurOMA (European Operations Management Association) and Vice President of VIL (Flanders Institute for Logistics). She currently serves on the boards of Ter Beke, Picanol Group, and North Sea Port.
