Background
Anna Grubic is an Undergraduate Career Services Manager in the Office of Career Management at the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business. In this role, she provides professional development resources and coaching regarding topics including resumes, cover letters, interviewing skills, networking, and professional communication. Her background includes major change advising and residence life.
Currently, she coaches students pursuing Finance and Risk Management and Insurance degrees and teaches Business Careers in a Global Economy, a cutting-edge career tools class and graduation requirement for all business majors. In addition to teaching University 101, Anna is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers and served on the Division of Student Affairs Professional Development Team. While receiving her bachelors in Political Science from the University of Mount Union, Anna spend her last semester at The Washington Center and interned for the Institute of International Education. After her time in Washington D.C., she completed her master’s in Higher Education Administration from the University of Akron.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Anna moved to Columbia in 2014 and started volunteering with Columbia Opportunity Resource. She is an active member in the Junior League of Columbia and served on the planning committee for Girls on the Run. She is a certified Group Fitness Instructor through the American Council on Exercise and has competed in several obstacle runs, triathlons, and half marathons. In her spare time, Anna enjoys playing with her miniature dachshund Duke, running, OrangeTheory Fitness, pizza and book club, cooking fun, healthy recipes, and traveling.
