Anne ter Braak is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management at Maastricht University.

In her research, she gains insights for the retail industry on, for example, who produces a retailer’s private-labels and the consequences this has for the parties involved. In addition, she works on topics like (i) whether retailers should, from a performance standpoint, introduce certain products or services (e.g. a premium private label, an innovation copycat, or a service innovation) and (ii) the trend towards healthy and sustainable retail (e.g. the use of a health symbol). Key in her projects always is the practical relevance ánd focus on the retail industry. Her research was published in leading Marketing journals, such as Journal of Marketing, Journal of Retailing, and Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science.

Anne ter Braak currently teaches eLab Business Case I (EBC1049) and Brand Management (EBC2062), and supervises master theses.
