Anne Costa

I managed $2.5M+ annually as direct report to Dean of Academics and ensured strategic alignment of the use of those funds. In addition, I coordinated the Academy's internship program for 50-70 students annually and planned two faculty in-service workshops each year for 100+ faculty members. I worked closely with the leadership of the Coast Guard Foundation and the Coast Guard Academy Alumni Association, as well as the Coast Guard's attorneys, to assure all donated funds were used in accordance with donors' wishes. I also served on the planning committee for the Academy's successful AACSB reaccreditation.

I developed the next generation of Coast Guard leaders as an advisor, mentor, coach, and teacher for the 1000 students at the Coast Guard Academy. I designed and taught a course on leadership and organizational behavior to 250 students annually and taught a consulting capstone course to 25+ seniors. As the Lead Academic Advisor within the Management Department, I supported my ten faculty colleagues as they advised 140+ cadets annually. I also coached and supported students as a Cadet Writing and Reading Center tutor.
