Anne Saw

Anne Saw, Ph.D. is an award-winning professor of clinical and community psychology at DePaul University in Chicago. She is also Vice President of the Asian American Psychological Association, a national organization whose mission is to advance the mental health and well-being of Asian American communities through research, professional practice, education, and policy. Dr. Saw is a leading researcher with expertise in the health and mental health of Asian American immigrant and refugee communities.

Most recently, she has served as the Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander lead on a large, multiracial collaborative research study of needs and impacts of COVID-19 on communities of color, which is supported by the National Urban League, championed by the Tri-Congressional Caucus, and funded by multiple philanthropies. An activist and advocate for Asian Americans and other minoritized communities, Dr. Saw regularly collaborates with national, regional, and local organizations to connect research with policy and social action.
