Arie Harel is an Associate Professor in the Paul H. Chook Department of Information Systems and Statistics in the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, the City University of New York (CUNY). Before joining the Baruch Faculty he was on the faculty of the Graduate School of Management of Rutgers University, Rotman School of Management of the University of Toronto and at the Department of Mathematics of the National University of Singapore. Professor Harel received his Ph.D. in Management Science from the Graduate School of Business of Columbia University. His research interests are modeling and analysis of stochastic systems. His publications have appeared in the journals Management Science, Operations Research, Mathematics of Operations Research, Journal of Applied Probability, Queueing Systems,Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society, The Journal of Futures Markets, Engineering Economist, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, and the International Journal of Theoretical & Applied Finance among others.
