Fox School of Business

Arvind Parkhe is the Laura H. Carnell Professor at the Fox School of Business, Temple University. He is the recipient of numerous research, teaching, and service awards.

In research, Professor Parkhe won the AIB Best Dissertation Award [1990], JIBS Decade Award [2001], and several best paper awards at national and international conferences, including the AIB Southwest Annual Conference Best Paper Award [2014]. He is a highly-cited author, with over 11,300 google scholar citations, including four “blockbuster” papers with over 1,000 citations. Professor Parkhe has published in all the top journals in his field.

He has won teaching excellence awards at the PhD level [Indiana University’s Doctoral Student Association Distinguished Teaching Award, 1997], Masters level [2006, 2012, 2017], and Undergraduate level [1994, 2000, 2004].

In service, Professor Parkhe was a guest editor of the prestigious Academy of Management Review [2006] and Journal of International Management [2007]. He was elected Vice President of the Consortium for Undergraduate International Business Education [2014] and served as Managing Director of the Fox School’s MBA Programs [2005-2010]. Since 2010, he has served as Chair of the Strategic Management Department. He received the Musser Outstanding Service Award [2012] and Temple University’s Faculty Service Excellence Award [2012].
