Ashleigh Edden

Ashleigh is the Programme Coordinator for POLPLUS in the Department of Political Studies at the University of Cape Town, where she develops innovative learning materials for first year political science students. She is also very involved with several Public Policy and Administration undergraduate courses at UCT. Ashleigh has also gained extensive knowledge of Constitutional, legal and institutional arrangements governing the South African public sector through her work with the Justice Alliance of South Africa (JASA) and the Helen Suzman Foundation. She has a keen interest in local government development research, monitoring and evaluation and public management. Her passion is found working with people, research and policy that promote liberal constitutional democracy and sustainable socio-economic growth.
