Aurel Hizmo joined New York University Stern School of Business as an Assistant Professor of Finance in July 2011.
Professor Hizmo's primary research interests lie at the intersection of asset pricing, real estate, and urban and labor economics. His most recent work explores how volatility in housing and labor markets affects household location and portfolio decisions, and ultimately how it affects equilibrium prices and welfare.
