Aurelie holds an MSc in Business Engineering from the IAG Business School of the University of Louvain (Belgium) witch she obtained with the highest honours. Upon graduating Aurelie began her professional career as a consultant at Arthur Andersen/Deloitte. Later, she became senior Finance Manager for a FTSE100 multinational company, where she led their annual global budgeting exercise. Aurelie has led several strategic and benchmarking projects for multinational companies aimed at supporting a detailed strategy for how to support companies through change and achieve World-Class performance.

Her strong interest in connecting academic research and practice motivated her to join the strategy department at the University of Louvain as an Assistant Professor. While at the university she researched and published a number of articles on organisational strategy and corporate responsibility and taught Political Economy and Corporate Strategy for the MBA class. She completed an MSc in Organisational Behaviour at the London School of Economics in 2013, where she is currently a fellow with the department of management, specialising in organisational behaviour and teaches Organisational Behaviour, Negotiations Skills and Human Resources Management.

Aurelie is bilingual in French and English and has a very good knowledge of Dutch and German. Her research interests are psychological contracts and the meaning of work.
