Summary
Bálint Diószegi joined the Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in September, 2017. His overall research focus is on the micro-level foundations of social neworks and networking behavior. Currently, he is involved in a research project aimed at examining entrepreneurs'' social networking behavior; how such behavior is learned and adapted, and how it affects entrerpeneurs'' performance. In addition, he is also working on topics related to network cognition, social capital, and creativity.
Before joining Imperial, he worked at SKEMA Business School in Sophia Antipolis, France. He earned his doctoral degree at ETH Zurich, for his dissertation "Mind over network: Individual agency, cognition, and organizational networks".
