Background
Barbara L. Bolt is an instructor at the Darla Moore School of Business. Barbara’s professional background includes over a decade managing public use programs for both the National Park Service and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Wanting to try her hand at business ownership, Bolt operated Bolt Outdoors, an ecotourism guide service, in Florida from 1998 to 2000. She received an M.A. in literature from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2003. Currently teaching Professional Communication in the Moore School, Bolt received her doctoral degree in English from the University of South Carolina in 2015.
