UW Professional & Continuing Education
Cochrane is an Associate Professor in Family and Child Nursing and the de Tornyay Term Professor in Healthy Aging at the UW School of Nursing, where she is also Director of the de Tornyay Center for Healthy Aging. She is a Joint Associate Member in Public Health Sciences at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, where she is a co-investigator at the coordinating center for the Women's Health Initiative — the large, landmark study of postmenopausal women's health. For the past 20 years, Cochrane's research has focused on older women's health, health promotion and disease prevention.
