Barbara Petitt

Barbara S. Petitt, PhD, CFA, is head of journal publications at CFA Institute and the managing editor of the Financial Analysts Journal. Previously a Director of Curriculum Projects, Petitt was also Director of online studies for Laureate Online Education and held academic positions in the U.S., the U.K., and France. She has held academic positions at Thunderbird, School of Global Management in the U.S., Bournemouth University in the U.K., and SKEMA Business School in France, and consulted with corporate clients throughout Europe and North America. She has an in-depth knowledge of equity valuation, mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructurings. Petitt also has extensive knowledge and expertise on the fields of financial analysis, corporate finance, financial management, financial risk management, international finance, and portfolio management.
