Biography

Stockholm School of Economics

Beldina is a PhD candidate at the Department of Management and Organization at the Stockholm School of Economics. Her research interests are in the areas of entrepreneurship, microfinance, and SME development. Specifically, her dissertation focuses on understanding women’s entrepreneurial identities in different socio-cultural contexts, and assumes a comparative stance by analyzing women entrepreneurs in Sweden and Tanzania.   She has been a teaching assistant for the MSc Negotiations for start-ups, and the Business plan project courses.  Previously, Beldina worked for the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) in Kenya and at the Headquarters in Italy, where she was involved in the financial and operational management of various projects. She holds an MBA (finance) degree from the United States International University Africa in Nairobi, Kenya.
