Biography
Dr. Belinda B. McFeeters is an accomplished educator and scholar with nearly twenty years of professional experience as a higher education administrator, faculty member and leadership researcher. She has taught, trained and provided leadership to a diverse group of students and professionals in doctoral programs and professional organizations. Prior to joining the Walden University community, Dr. McFeeters served as Associate Vice President – Academic Affairs at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Adjunct Associate Professor in the Leadership Studies PhD program at North Carolina A&T State University, and Adjunct Faculty Evaluator at the Center for Creative Leadership. Most recently, Dr. McFeeters served as Faculty Development Director and Inclusion Director at Reiss-Davis Graduate School. Dr. McFeeters’ education background spans across diverse disciplines. She earned a PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), a MS in Adult Education from North Carolina A&T State University, and a BS in Human Environmental Sciences, with a focus on business and community services from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Dr. McFeeters has great respect for research and scholarly writing. She has co-authored two books on global leadership and diversity and authored or co-authored almost 20 peer-reviewed and non-peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on doctoral education, leadership education, multicultural education, higher education, K-12 education, and sociological issues.
