Biography

The London School of Economics and Political Science

Ben is a lapsed electronic engineer, a recovering management consultant and a social psychologist. In addition to being a Visiting Professor in Practice at the LSE, he is also a Visiting Professor with Duke Corporate Education and the Director of the Business Insights Lab at the University of Surrey. He holds a PhD in Organizational Behaviour from Harvard Business School.

Ben teaches the Corporate Communication course (PS438) in the Psychological and Behavioural Science Department. He has taught executive courses on leadership, organizational change, decision-making, senior teams & innovation at Harvard and Duke Corporate Education. Organizations he has advised include the BBC, BP, Cisco, Daimler-Benz, E.ON, NATO, McCann-Erickson, Pearson & Unilever.

His first book, Strategic Decision Making: A discovery-led approach to critical choices in turbulent times, will be published in January 2018.
