Ben serves global banking and financial institutions, alongside many of the world’s leading investors and shareholders, through periods of intense strategic, regulatory and technology-driven disruption.
As leader in McKinsey’s Private Equity, Principal Investors and Transactions service lines in Asia, Ben counsels senior leaders on acquisitions and divestitures, strategy, integration, transformation and exits – supporting clients to realise the full potential of transactions and investments.
He has deep expertise in retail, corporate and institutional banking from work in the United States, Europe and Asia-Pacific, and brings extensive experience in restructuring, cost management, large-scale reorganisation and transformation.
Most recently, as a member of our Strategy & Corporate Finance practice, he led research into Asia’s evolving corporate ecosystems as part of the McKinsey Global Institute (MGI) series on the Future of Asia. Prior to McKinsey, Ben was a Senior Vice President at Macquarie Group in Sydney and New York, and Principal at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
