Dr. Benjamin Nelson is a board certified pediatric pulmonologist who is seeing patients in Concord and Danvers, in addition to MassGeneral.
Dr. Nelson received his medical degree from Georgetown University in 2005. He completed his residency in 2008 at the Massachusetts General Hospital where he also completed his fellowship training in pediatric pulmonology in 2011. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Nelson serves as the director of Pediatric Bronchoscopy and is the fellowship director of the Pediatric Pulmonary Program at MassGeneral for Children.
Dr. Nelson's research is in the field of medical education. He is the associate director for CME for the Department of Pediatrics at MGHfC where he creates content and leads national conferences.
His areas of special interest include asthma, chronic cough, bronchoscopy, shortness of breath/exercise difficulty, tracheomalacia, general pulmonary disorders, bronchopulmonary dysplasia and medical education.
