Biography

UCLA Anderson School of Management

I have always been intrigued with art and style. I started painting at a young age, spent many years working in the fashion industry and studied art in college. As time went on, I was drawn to medicine to care for the wellbeing of people and develop a deeper human bond.

After my medical training, I became a member of UCLA faculty where I practiced and taught ultrasound guided regional anesthesia for 14 years. Early in my career at UCLA, I took a course in aesthetics and I knew right away that it was my calling. It made perfect sense to combine my creativity with medicine. A highlight of my time at UCLA was receiving the Exceptional Physician Award.

During the last decade, I have advanced my practice of medicine to include a more holistic approach to patient care, treating the mind and body united as a whole. One aspect of this was becoming certified in acupuncture, a practice of restoring mental and physical harmony. I believe that every cell in the body is responding to our thoughts and emotions, which have a biological impact on how we feel and look.

My philosophy and approach to aesthetics is “Less is More”. I avoid the “overly done look” and create a natural, more youthful you. By using a combination of minimally invasive, non-surgical treatments to address the underlying architecture of the face, I am able to create a smoother, lifted and more youthful appearance. In addition, I am skilled in ultrasound guidance for visualizing facial structures that could be enhanced or should be avoided, thus giving me the utmost precision and safety.

The combination of my medical background with my artistic eye and holistic approach create results that are subtle and refreshed. I strive for the utmost care and highest level of service to help you to be a fresher looking, more confident and beautiful you.
