Bob van den Brand

Bob van den Brand, holds a PhD in Accounting from Tilburg School of Economics and Management (Tilburg University). Bob graduated in 1996 from Tilburg University, and studied Business-economics at UFSIA as an exchange student. Van den Brand studied Law and History at Antwerp University and during his PhD he stayed at Case Western Reserve University (Weatherhead School of Management) in Cleveland (Ohio). Bob has worked as an assistant/associate professor at Tilburg University and RSM Erasmus University. He teaches accounting both in bachelor, master and executive programs. The last few years Bob received several outstanding teacher and innovation awards: Jim Bulloch Award from the American Accounting association, AV Technology Award, Nationale e-learning award, Rich Media Impact Award and Excellent Teacher TiU 2012-2013. His research interests are in accounting history and financial information in capital markets.
