Bruce Spurlock

Bruce Spurlock is the president and CEO of Cynosure Health and an adjunct professor at Stanford University. He is a nationally recognized speaker on a wide variety of healthcare topics, including translating policy into practice, healthcare trends, and effectively engaging every stakeholder to drive improvement.

Spurlock previously served as the executive vice president for the California Healthcare Association and practiced internal medicine at the senior level for The Permanente Medical Group. He also served as the executive director of both the BEACON San Francisco Bay Area Patient Safety Collaborative and the California Healthcare Association.

Spurlock currently leads and advises large improvement collaboratives at the regional, state, and national levels designed to accelerate the implementation of evidence-based practices. He has also served on five committees and has been regularly published.
