Bryan Stroube’s main research interest is in the social processes and consequences of audience evaluations, with a particular interest in the mechanisms of discrimination and status. Empirical settings for recent or current research include lenders evaluating borrowers, the public evaluating police, moviegoers evaluating films, and on-line communities evaluating entrepreneurial ideas. He also has an interest in how technological developments facilitate entrepreneurship. He serves on the Editorial Review Board of the Strategic Management Journal and Organization Science. At LBS he has taught entrepreneurship courses in the MBA program and both the London and Dubai Executive MBA programs.
Prior to joining London Business School as Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship, Bryan completed a PhD in the Management and Organization Department at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business. During that time he spent a year in China on a Fulbright fellowship. He also holds an MSc in economics from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a BS in electrical engineering and BA in English from Purdue University.
