Biography
Byron Darden is a consultant with a background in professional theater and an accomplished skating coach. He has conducted leadership development programs for organizations such as Booz Allen Hamilton, Harvard Business School, CVS, Praxair Gases, American Express, AT&T, Staples, Capital One, and the Executive Education program at Columbia University Business School. He has coached and trained professional coaches, athletes, and officials, in addition to having extensive experience delivering leadership seminars and consulting in the public and private sector. As a member of the Actor’s Equity Association, Byron enjoys a thriving professional career as an actor.

BYRON DARDEN is a leadership consultant and performance coach. He is a certified Prosci change management practitioner with an extensive background in the education field. His nearly 30 years of coaching spans from the world of figure skating to the executive boardrooms of fortune 500 corporations. His long standing in non-profit in connection with US Figure Skating includes numerous roles from committee member to member-club president.
Byron was the Program Director for Washington Ice Skating Association, served on the education committees with Professional Figure Skating, is a national presenter for coaches and athletes. He is currently serving on this organization’s Apprenticeship committee where he has served for nearly 20-years as a coaching mentor. He was a developer for the ratings exams and is a double master rated coach and examiner in the sport.
In addition, Byron delivers leadership development programs in the Executive Education programs for Columbia, Duke, Harvard and it’s MBA program, and Northwestern Universities, as well as the Queen’s School of Business in Canada. He also delivers leadership development programs for corporate organizations such as American Express, Booz Allen Hamilton, Praxair Gasses, Capital One and Time Warner to name a few. Byron has also taught programs for Inspiring Educators at Achievement First, ANet, and the Boston Public Schools.
