Cara Chesney

Cara Chesney, CPA, CA, is a Partner with MNP in Kingston. Cara works with her clients one-on-one to provide tax compliance and planning advice, helping guide her clients on how to best achieve their business goals.

Cara works with a wide range of local businesses and individuals, providing insight into how they can maximize tax opportunities. An integral part of her work involves gaining in-depth understanding of all aspects of her clients’ operations, their industries and the environment in which they operate so she can tailor advice and solutions to meet their unique needs.

Cara listens closely to best answer clients questions and clearly explain the tax implications and issues in a practical and meaningful way, so they understand the options and feel confident in their decision-making process. A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2005.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Honours) from Queen’s University. She is passionate about contributing to the profession and is an adjunct professor at the Smith School of Business and an instructor with CPA Ontario.
