She lives several miles out into the Atlantic Ocean on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Her latest book is: “Creatures of Imagination: A Journal of Discovery” chronicling the adventures of a 19th century British naturalist who discovers and then sculpts imaginary creatures from “the edge of evolution”.
