Overview

Caroline has expertise in qualitative research methods applied within health services research.  She leads two strands of work focused on technologies, and health and illness experience, within the Long-Term Conditions research theme in the Centre for Primary Care.  She is the lead for sociology content on the MBChB undergraduate programme, and is co-lead (with Dr Gavin Daker-White) for the module in Qualitative Research Methods on the Masters in Public Health Programme.

Biography

Caroline is a medical sociologist with a professional background in nursing. Since 1995 she has held a number of posts combining research and teaching in the field of health and medicine at the universities of Bristol, Sheffield and Manchester.
