Harvard Medical School
Dr. DiGiorgio is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She is an expert in cosmetic dermatologic procedures, both minimally invasive and non-invasive treatments. She performs numerous treatments using laser and energy-based devices, such as laser resurfacing, reduction of blood vessels, tattoo removal, skin tightening, and microneedling radiofrequency. She is an expert injector in the use of neuromodulators, dermal fillers, thread lifts, and kybella. She also performs liposuction on all body areas utilizing the tumescent technique, which allows the procedure to be performed safely and comfortably using local anesthesia and no sedation. Additionally, she offers chemical peels.
Born and raised in New Orleans, Dr. DiGiorgio earned a Master of Science in Human Genetics and a Doctor of Medicine from Tulane University School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine internship and Dermatology Residency at LSU in New Orleans.
Dr. DiGiorgio subsequently completed an intense 2-year Laser and Cosmetic dermatology fellowship at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital and the Wellman Center for Photomedicine. She was trained by the world’s experts and inventors in the use of laser and energy-based devices and cosmetic dermatologic surgical procedures. Dr. DiGiorgio has performed numerous research studies to improve and advance the application of laser and energy-based devices to prevent and solve medical and cosmetic dermatology problems. She was trained and certified to perform the tumescent liposuction procedure technique by Dr. Jeffrey Klein, the inventor of this procedure. She has years of experience practicing dermatology. She is excited to call Boston home and enjoys serving the Boston area.
Dr. DiGiorgio has authored many peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters. She is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Society for Investigative Dermatology, and Women’s Dermatologic Society. Dr. DiGiorgio is regularly invited to speak on her expertise and experiences in cosmetic dermatology at national medical conferences. She is also passionate about dermatology resident education and is frequently invited to teach residents in laser and cosmetic dermatology at both Tulane University School of Medicine and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.
