Biography
Catherine Tanneau is an Affiliate Professor at HEC Paris where she teaches in various Executive Education programs. Most particularly, she is in charge of Leadership modules of the Executive MBA.
A qualified trainer in both individual and team coaching, Catherine Tanneau has, for over 20 years, advised and supported managers and executives in the definition and implementation of their strategy, as well as in managing change processes in complex, multicultural environments. She has worked for international consulting firms in several European countries, including McKinsey and Co, OC&C Strategy consultants and Variations Portugal (of which she is a partner and co-founder). Catherine has also held positions of responsibility in companies (Director of Strategy, Marketing, Multimedia, Hachette Livre – Lagardère Group. She has been responsible for the M&A activity at BNP Paribas, Milan).
This background has enabled her to develop a strong base of expertise in setting up individual and collective learning initiatives using a combination of consulting, training and coaching to support organizational transformation from a human and managerial perspective. Her specializations are post-fusion integration, strategic alignment, change management and intercultural management.
Besides her assignments at HEC, Catherine Tanneau runs various learning and coaching programs in France, Italy and Portugal, most notably at the CNAM (France) and Nova Forum (the Executive Center of the Lisbon University of Economics).
Catherine Tanneau holds a degree from HEC (1985) and international certifications as Executive Master Coach. She is also an accredited Board Member.
