Cecilia Fredriksson is a PhD student in Business Administration at the Department of Management and Organization (DMO), Stockholm School of Economics, and at Stockholm Center for Organisational Research (SCORE).
Cecilia is working within the project Who is watching the watchdog? The construction of independence in the audit society. The four-year research program (2017–2020) is funded by Handelsbankens Forskningsstiftelser and is led by Kristina Tamm Hallström. Other researchers in the research group are Nils Brunsson and Ingrid Gustafsson.
In her PhD thesis, Cecilia is studying independent auditing in a European perspective. The focus lies on how accreditation organizations within the European accreditation infrastructure are organizing independent auditing in light of the new legal framework of 2008.
