Charles McClelland

Charles has more than 40 years of professional experience and is a recognized expert in the development and presentation of Project Management Training programs. Charles helped establish Georgetown University’s Project Management Certificate Program in 2008, creating the initial curriculum and recruiting the original faculty for the Program. He is an Adjunct Professor in the program, currently teaching the Project Management Fundamentals, Leading Project Teams, Project Manager’s Toolkit and Project Risk Management Courses. Charles has a B.A. degree from Grinnell College and a Master of Public Administration degree from Brigham Young University.

Prior to joining Georgetown University, Charles worked as a Program Analyst in five U.S. Government agencies over a period of 30 years, completing his Federal career as Director of the Office of Management in the Federal Housing Administration. Thereafter, as an Associate with the international management consulting firm, Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH), Charles developed and presented project management training programs for the Departments of State, Army, Navy, Labor, Agriculture, Homeland Security, and Housing and Urban Development. Since leaving BAH, Charles has worked as an Independent Management Consultant.
