Founder/CEO at HYBR
My experience and deep interests:
I am based in: Lagos
I am passionate about creating innovative business models to help drive economic and social impact in emerging markets. Alongside over fifteen years of multi-industry experience with Samsung, General Electric, Procter Gamble and DuPont, I have delivered significant value in sectors such as consumer goods, hi-tech, food, agriculture, energy, healthcare, and telecommunications. I co-founded Pulse Active Savings in San Francisco. Pulse allows for savings to take place using a mobile phone when and where people shop. Pulse was one of the six finalists of the world''s largest business competition for social good, the Hult Prize, in partnership with President Bill Clinton. Also, I was an adviser on agriculture and healthcare programs to Sir Paul Judge on the Togolese President’s International Advisory Council.
Currently, I am founder and CEO of HYBR. A boutique business development firm. We work with entrepreneurs, multinational corporations, governments, non-profits and investors to scale solutions. Prior to HYBR, I was Director, Enterprise Business in Samsung Electronics West Africa where he was leading and building Samsung Electronics business-to-business, business-to-government and enterprise solutions organization in West Africa.
I started my career in computing, then advanced to study Industrial Relations and Personnel Management at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. I have a Masters degree in Social Entrepreneurship with distinction from Hult International Business School, San Francisco, California, USA. I also took management courses at Imperial College London, UK.
