Dr. Cheri Thomas became associated with The University of Tennessee Southern, previously known as Martin Methodist College during the 2013-14 academic year, serving as a consultant in developing two new business-related programs. In May, she was named Executive Director of the newly created Center for Executive and Professional Development Certification Program. Currently, she serves as a Professor of Business in the M.B.A. and B.B.A. programs.

Dr. Thomas holds both an M.B.A. and a D.B.A. with distinction from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. She has extensive work experience in the area of commercial real estate and marketing and has taught in the graduate business program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
