Background
Chris is from Columbus, OH and graduated from The Ohio State University with a
BSBA with a major in accounting. He received his MBA from The Dauch School of
Business at Ashland University. Additionally, he is a Certified Public Accountant
licensed in the State of Ohio.
Chris joined White Oak Partners in January 2017 as Vice President, Investor Relations.
His primary responsibilities include equity sourcing, and overseeing joint venture partner
and investor reporting. White Oak Partners primarily invest in multifamily assets
throughout the US.
Prior to joining White Oak, Chris spent 11 years with Glimcher Realty Trust/Washington
Prime Group. His last position there was Senior Director, Investments. His primary
responsibilities included overseeing the financial underwriting of all new acquisitions,
maintaining broker relationships, financial projections on development and
redevelopment opportunities, and managing the relationships with joint venture partners.
Additionally, he managed the disposition process to ensure sales proceeds were
maximized from sales transactions.
Prior to joining Glimcher, Chris spent nearly 10 years with the Ohio Public Employees
Retirement System (OPERS). At OPERS he spent three years in Real Estate Accounting
and seven years in the Real Estate Investment Division, managing several portfolios
totaling over $1.5 billion in market value. The portfolios consisted of various property
types including office, multifamily, industrial and retail, including, at that time, the
largest privately held outlet mall portfolio in the country (Charter Oak). Additionally,
Chris oversaw the Risk Management and Insurance program of the real estate investment
portfolio.

BUSFIN 5402 Real Estate Valuation
This real estate valuation and financial modeling course will cover existing income producing property as well as ground up construction. Topics include market analysis, comparable valuation, income valuation, cost valuation, real estate finance, expense reimbursements, budget development, and proforma modeling. Prereq: 3400, and enrollment in RealEst major or minor; or 4211, 4221, and enrollment in Finance major; or 7240; or permission of instructor.
