Business experience
Chris Wilkins is an experienced and highly successful managing director with a proven track record of managing companies for growth and profit, who is used to working at board level. He spent many years with Parker Hannifin, a US Fortune 400 company, and was President of the Automation Group, Europe until joining Wellington Holdings Plc as CEO. He was also Group Board Director of an international engineering group as well as President of CDI Seals and Hallite Dynamic, both US subsidiaries of the group. Now retired, Chris works as a consultant for Fenner Plc on strategy, mergers and acquisitions and is Non-Executive Chairman of CM2000 Ltd, a software company supplying the care monitoring market.
Chris has held board-level appointments in the UK, USA, Sweden, France, Germany, Holland and Italy and is well used to operating in a multicultural environment.
Professional credentials and training experience
Chris is an engineering and business administration graduate with professional qualifications in marketing and engineering and is a past President of the British Fluid Power Association. Before joining Wellington Holdings Plc as CEO, he completed his MBA with a dissertation on the effects on employees caused by acquisition, particularly by overseas companies, and cultural differences. He has completed courses at IMEDE, Switzerland, and Fontainebleau, France.
