Christine Scheef

Dr. Christine Scheef is Postdoctoral Researcher at the Center for Family Business at the University of St.Gallen (CFB-HSG). Before joining, Christine was General Manager of the St.Gallen Institute of Management in Asia (SGI-HSG), the University of St.Gallen’s first international institute located in Singapore, where she significantly contributed to develop the University’s presence in Singapore and the region. Christine gained extensive work and teaching experience in Asia over a period of six years. She successfully developed and conducted Asia-related seminars from the undergraduate to executive level and strongly engaged with the local business communities. Christine’s research interest lies in family businesses, succession processes, corporate governance and strategic management. She is a regular speaker at international conferences and has published in leading academic journals such as the Strategic Management Journal. Christine is lecturer at the University of St.Gallen and at the Singapore Management University. She completed her Ph.D. in Strategic Management at the University of St. Gallen, which included a one-year research stay at INSEAD in Singapore.
